Mr. Hypsher earned his B.S. Degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York in 1979. Thereafter he began his career as a DUI professional with the Houston Police Department. While at HPD, Cliff was certified to operate and repair Intoxilyzer alcohol breath test machines and served as an expert witness in hundreds of Drug and Alcohol Criminal DUI trials. Cliff's strong foundation in toxicology helps him to provide unusually strong support to clients fighting a Drunk Driving charge.

After working on the Law Enforcement Side of drunk driving law, Cliff was awarded his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1991. Upon successfully passing the Bar Exam, he worked as lead Prosecutor for the Adams County Attorney's Office in Zoning Regulation and Liquor Licensing.

Mr. Hypsher's next assignment was as an Assistant Attorney General with the Colorado Department of Law. There he served as counsel for the Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division learning the ins and outs of Colorado Driver's License Law. It was also during these years that Cliff gained valuable trial experience in both State and Federal District Courts and sharpened his skills as an appellate attorney.

Since 1997 Cliff has operated a successful private practice in Arapahoe County. While concentrating on drunk and drugged driving cases, his long an varied career as a trial lawyer has prepared him for almost any type of case involving criminal litigation. Cliff will accept most misdemeanor and felony cases as well as municipal court matters.
